Privacy Policy

Equivali ("the App") is a unit conversion utility available on the Apple App Store for iOS and iPadOS. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and what is not collected.

We do not collect any information. Period.

Equivali does not:

• Require user registration or accounts
• Collect personal data (name, email, phone, address)
• Use analytics, telemetry, or crash-reporting SDKs
• Include advertising networks or tracking pixels
• Transmit any data over the internet
• Use third-party SDKs that collect user data

All data generated within Equivali is stored exclusively on your device using local storage (Hive and SharedPreferences). This includes:

• Conversion History — your recent unit conversions (up to 100 entries)
• Favorites — conversion pairs you have saved for quick access
• Preferences — theme selection, decimal place settings, haptic feedback toggle

Equivali does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or APIs. The App operates completely offline with no network permissions required for its core functionality.

Currency Rates

The Currency category uses static, pre-loaded exchange rates that are bundled within the App at the time of release. These rates are approximate and do not reflect real-time market values. No live data is fetched from any external source.

Equivali does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). Because the App collects no information, it is safe for users of all ages.

The App does not contain in-app purchases, subscriptions, or external links that could lead to unintended purchases or data disclosure.

Since Equivali does not collect or transmit any data, there is no risk of data breach from our side. All locally stored data is protected by iOS's built-in sandboxing and encryption mechanisms.

• Data is stored in the App's sandboxed container
• iOS encrypts data at rest using hardware-level encryption
• No data is backed up to iCloud unless you enable full-device backup in iOS Settings
• Deleting the App removes all associated data permanently

Even though we collect no data, we want to be transparent about your privacy rights under applicable laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.):

• Right to Access — There is no data to access; everything is on your device
• Right to Deletion — Delete the App to remove all local data
• Right to Portability — All data is stored locally and can be managed through iOS settings
• Right to Object — No processing occurs that could be objected to

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Since the App collects no data, substantive changes to this policy are unlikely.
